Privacy Policy

Effective June 2026

This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. On Paper is a US-based service in early access.

Information we collect

Account details (name, email), the job and payment information you enter, files you upload as deliverables, and basic usage/device data. Payment card details are handled by our payments partner (Stripe) — we do not store full card numbers.

How we use it

To operate the service: create and fund jobs, move payments, run the tax set-aside, generate records, provide support, prevent fraud, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal information.

Sharing

We share data with service providers that make On Paper work — our payments partner (Stripe), infrastructure and email providers — only as needed to deliver the service, and with the other party to a job (e.g., a creator and the freelancer they pay see each other’s relevant details).

Data retention

We keep financial and account records as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymize them.

Your choices

You can access or update your account information, request a copy or deletion of your data, and contact us with privacy questions using the support chat or email below. Some records we are legally required to retain.

Security

We use reputable infrastructure and encryption in transit. No method is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and limit access to it.

Children

On Paper is not directed to anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
